  1. Women have a separate pro tour. The closest thing for women is La Grande Boucle Feminine. It is, currently, much shorter, and the group that runs Le Tour has made sure that the women’s race does not use “Tour” in the name.

    Emma Pooley of the UK won it earlier this year.
