Question by alyx: what ww2 battle fits this?
in warm weather months.
on european land.
germany vs us.
easy to reenact.
uh,thats it.
i hav to do a video for history of a reenactment but its warm so i can thave it snowy and i wont be able to use real guns or tanks or anything. let me know of any battles that fit that criteria please. 🙂 thanks

there was the whole italian campaign, not many isolated major battles in that though.

  1. You might consider the 82nd and 101st US Airborne vs. the German 709th Infantry Division on the morning of 6 June 1944. It was in France (Europe) in June (warm weather) and consisted mainly of combat between small units (easier to reenact, and you don’t need large scale props like tanks and artillery). Joseph Balkoski’s book “Utah Beach”, which should be available in any decent library, gives a detailed account of the action.
